Prof. dr Tomas C. Franquet is chief of Section of Thoracic Radiology Hospital de Sant Pau, Barcelona, associated professor of Radiology at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona , member of Editorial Board – Journal of Thoracic Imaging; Radiologia and President of SEICAT (Sociedad Española de Imagen Cardio-Torácica). He is a member of numerous radiological societies worldwide and reviewer of leading European radiology journals.

Prof. Franquet is author of 25 book chapters, co-author and contributing author of several radiology books, author of 90 peer reviewed articles, more than 30 articles in Spanish and more than 40 oral presentations. He received 30 Radiologic Exhibit Awards.

Prof. Franquet’s main areas of interest are diffuse lung diseases and HRCT and radiologic-pathologic correlation of pulmonary infections.
