Dr. Aydıngöz graduated from Ankara Science High School and Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialty education in the Department of Radiology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. He became an associate professor in 1997 and professor in 2003.

He performed professional studies in Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, and University of California Medical Center in San Francisco, USA, for a total of 5 months in 1992 and 1996. He worked as a visiting professor of radiology at the Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, between 2005 and 2009.

His professional interests include musculoskeletal radiology, magnetic resonance imaging, and radiological applications of information technologies (HIS-RIS-PACS).
