Department of computed tomography at Center of Radiology, Clinical Center  of Vojvodina, has been established in 1980, and regarding its professional work and number of patients, has always been the leading center in the country and region, which is especially emphasised today, when it is equipped with the most contemporary multislice CT scanners.

Guided by a positive idea and awareness of all the difficulties following the introduction of new technologies in centers  encountering such advances for the first time, Center of Radiology, with professor Sanja Stojanovic as its leader, and  under the patronage of Center for Continuous Health Education, Medical Faculty Novi Sad, established the first educatioal course of such kind with international participation in Serbia and the region in 2003, employing professors and experts in the filed from Medical Faculties in Belgrade, Niš and Podgorica.
